Weight Loss Progress

Mindset is Everything!!!

Your mind is the strongest muscle you will ever use and have. The truth is most diets/lifestyles work if YOU work them. Your mind has to be in the right place. If you put in a half-assed effort, you'll get half-assed results (if any). So on this journey, I realized something I had to understand and get control of if I wanted my desired results. I had to dig deep and figure out why I was overeating. Why was I binging on food and taking comfort? Why was I drinking liquor like a whale drinks water? Then I thought about my goals and came up with the following affirmations.

I feel as though they are quite personal but I've had some women reach out and ask so hopefully, this helps give you a good start.

Weight Loss Affirmations

I read my affirmations in the morning (before I get out of bed), at night (while in bed) and sometimes during the day if I'm struggling and need the motivation like when I'm working out.

I've also recorded them as a voice memo and listen to them every once in a while.

Feel free to make them your own and use them:

The picture that started it all!

We went to Cabo and my aunt tagged me in this picture. I was like OMG... I couldn't believe how big I was. I know a lot of people are like you aren't "that" big but y'all, I'm only 5'1 1/2" or 5'2. I don't need that much weight on me and here I was over 200lbs! My healthy weight and the weight I felt most-comfortable with is 140lbs but I was over 200lbs!! I was sluggish. I was depressed. I was unhappy and I felt like shit.

I saw this picture and realized I had to get it together! Not only did I not feel good, but I realized I also didn't look good.

There's no difference between the two pics so don't try to find it lol They were taken on the same day. I FINALLY put on clothes and felt like a lady so decided to model new outfits.
